I recently contracted with D. Bloomberg Construction to renovate a Fannie Mae property that I just purchased. I am so pleased with the renovations that I can’t wait to return from work each day and admire my new home! This was the first time I had ever gone through a renovation, and Bloomberg was able remove the fear and trepidation that I once held. They completed the job within two days of the estimated completion date (walls needed much work). I had a major issue with my lender, and my close date was 3 weeks after the original scheduled date. I secretly feared that they wouldn’t be able to still commit to the original complete date, but they did. Ron was my project manager and he was patient and calming during my crazy moments, and I had a few. The samples that he presented based on my budget exceeded my expectations. He provided us with great recommendations and ideas to make our home perfect. As my GC I met them at the property several times I visited the property that I purchased. I still wasn’t sure I wanted to undertake a project of that magnitude because I wanted a move-in ready property, but I didn’t have move-in ready money. They told me that the property was a great investment, and that I could move in 30 days after close. He has a trusting soul, and that’s the best way to describe him. So, I went for it…thus far it’s been one of the best decisions that I could have made. Samantha the office manager was so responsive to my lender regarding documentation that it felt like I was their only client. Although I never met her, maybe on my next go around I’ll get that opportunity. Bloomberg brought their A-game each day, and I can count on 1 hand how many times I’ve experienced this level of professionalism. I highly recommend them, and will use them to remodel my first floor bath (was only able to budget 1 bath in reno) in the next two years. Lastly, they were the most prompt crew imaginable! If the project manager said that the electrician would be there at 7:00am, they were there by 6:50am. Same was true for every crew member… It was unbelievable…Again, can’t give Bloomberg enough praise. Just for the record, I am not a relative or close friend; I met the GC through my realtor who had just met him 3 days prior to us meeting.

We hired D. Bloomberg Construction to complete our home renovation through a renovation loan. We absolutely love our home especially my new kitchen and all the new hardwood floors, D. Bloomberg treated me and my family with complete professionalism and was very informative in explaining the complete renovation process. There was much paperwork that needed to be submitted for the approval through the draw process and they helped me every step of the way. I was very happy with all the workmanship and staff; they always kept the house clean during the entire remodeling of the house which was very important to me especially with 4 young children.
